Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic.

It is used to treat dogs, cats, rabbits, decorative animals and birds (hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, canaries, parrots) suffering from acute and chronic eye diseases (catarrhal and purulent conjunctivitis, keratitis, infected eye wounds, corneal ulcers), caused by microorganisms sensitive to gentamicin.
